I am an Incorporated Fire Engineer, Tier 3 Life Safety Assessor and have 44 years working experience in high-risk environments, 11 years in a nuclear engineering role before 22 years Fire Service experience and 11 years as a fire safety professional in the private sector.

I have a wide range of experience in enforcement within the fire service working on major projects for sports grounds and shopping centres. Ending my career as the Head of Fire Safety for the Fylde coast with its diverse range of risks from thousands of sleeping risk premises to major public entertainment complexes and events.

On leaving the Fire Service I had 2 years’ experience as a Fire Risk Assessor and Fire Safety Consultant conducting a range of FRA’s. I then took the role of Head of Compliance for one of the largest fire risk assessment providers in the UK and have now set up my own Fire Safety Consultancy company conducting high risk inspections, fire strategies and consultancy.
